4 big games to come in Week3, as now every team has played a fixture.
First off we report that the Bears / Seahawks game, which was scheduled for Monday night, is postponed til December 6th, due to an outbreak of Covid Positive cases at Bears. 9 players have tested positive and we wish them all a speedy and healthy recovery.
The other game on Monday, Evolution vs. Suns, goes ahead in Beaminster as the hosts look to keep their season rolling. Whilst the Suns aim to get a tally in the W column. Back in 2019/20 season the fixture was close, with Evo grabbing the win 50-47 in Nov, before Suns repaid the favour 56-55 in February... Who will come out on top Tonight?
Tomorrow, the Blazers host the young Storm at New Milton. Blazers need to bounce back from their loss to Evolution to get their season underway, whilst Storm look to cement themselves at the top of GroupA
On Wednesday Group C has a double header with the Classics playing host the South Coast Tigers in game1. Both teams lost their opening fixtures so looking for their first W's to move to 50%. Tigers couldn't quite close out a tight game with the Bandits, whilst the Classics faced a strong Oaks team in their (slightly shortened) game.
The other game in GroupC has the Bandits and Oaks face off. Both teams won their openers, so this is to decide the early group leader. Oaks are at home at St. Peters and hoping the court floor doesn't have similar issues to last week.
