U12

The day started with the U12's and the Seahawks needing just one win to wrap up the league, and a strong 2nd half against the Piranhas,  saw them take the title.  Piranhas then got the win over Weymouth 18-10, with Fabian getting 6pts.  The Seahawks then beat Weymouth 28-10, with Lucas Lane taking 16 points!

U14

The U14s is a closer championship, which is going to the wire! Piranhas kept Seahawks honest in Game 1 but it was BCS who came out on top 29-18, with George S. getting 10pts.  Weymouth then played Piranhas, and although the hosts started slow, they made a come back in the 2nd half, but the Oilers held them off to win 32-23.  Max had 18 points!  Game 3, could take the title for the Seahawks, but the Oilers came out faster, and took the lead.  The match up of George vs. George was great to watch, as both played strong basketball!! The Seahawks made it close at the end but Oilers kept the season alive taking it 24-20.

U17

The Piranhas came into the weekend as Champions already, being unbeaten so far, but the Seahawks took it to the wire! 12-12 at the half, and much improved defence stopped Harley getting going for the Piranhas.  But Henry added a 3 on the buzzer of the 3rd quarter, which would prove to be the difference as they came out winners, 23-22! 

Game 2 started close as Weymouth came out strong, led by Dan and Alfie.  But soon the Piranhas found that extra gear, as the Tropics failed to capitalise.  Henry had 19, with 3 triples, as Piranhas won it 54-33.  

Game 3, was again a much closer game, but the Tropics took the half time lead, 16-14.  Andy for the Seahawks was playing hard, as he grabbed 12pts, but Dan led his Tropics to the win with 11pts, as it finished 31-26.

Another great day with Dorset showing its strength in supporting Youth basketball!!
